although i don't like google, blogger.com is powerful

by "powerful", i mean its customization, the way that users can customize their blogs.
it appears to me that blogger.com allows people to edit their blogs in HTML format. however there is a significant weakness in this respect.
the thing is, i checked the "Template" function, but it seems to encourage only those who know HTML and javascript languages very well to understand how to make changes as desired.
we used to think technology gap is getting narrower every day, but there are still too many people who are not specialized in computer languages.
we can see the trend of technology, heading from unweild to simplified, from hard to easy.
this is the way it has been, and will be!
people in computer science and information technology fields ought to make information accessing easier to others.
this is the mission.
i remember back to the time when i was in high school, i got my first pc, but i was sort of scared of using it, even when i was so young.
but when i got to be used to windows 95, things changed. especially for my attitude to computer. things became easier to handle.
look at microsoft, it first introduced some virsons of windows, such as 3.x and then 95, 98, 2000, NT, CE, ME. Now so many people are using xp.
that is the trend, desination is about secured, and easy.
i have to admit xp is quite slow and have many many holes (defects).
but the point is making os and other app software easy to learn or to use. as a result it attracts more users, making them getting addicted. and the events keep rolling.
there isn't gonna be an end.
even if microsoft gave up selling us new os, there are other opterating software getting more attentation.
Linux for example is believed to be a more secured althernative, and powerful.
the reason for its success is the "openness".

who know what the future will be. would all the software be free after all?
if so, would it change people's perception of copyright?
would the film and music markets be affected?
no one knows. network has been playing a big big role now, things could turn to be defferent very quickly. and the wealth and cunning developers would allow it to happen.
then what can we, as citizens in information technology, can do about it?
