make a change
Sometimes I feel it was hard to read if I didn't type a letter of each sentence in captial.
Thus I will insist to type properly from now.
Yesterday I didn't recieve any letter as I expected earlier. My mailbox appeared to be totally empty. What a disappointment!
I brought a swimming short yesterday along with a swimming eyewear. Hopefully I will have a chance to go to the gym.

although i don't like google, blogger.com is powerful
by "powerful", i mean its customization, the way that users can customize their blogs.
it appears to me that blogger.com allows people to edit their blogs in HTML format. however there is a significant weakness in this respect.
the thing is, i checked the "Template" function, but it seems to encourage only those who know HTML and javascript languages very well to understand how to make changes as desired.
we used to think technology gap is getting narrower every day, but there are still too many people who are not specialized in computer languages.
we can see the trend of technology, heading from unweild to simplified, from hard to easy.
this is the way it has been, and will be!
people in computer science and information technology fields ought to make information accessing easier to others.
this is the mission.
i remember back to the time when i was in high school, i got my first pc, but i was sort of scared of using it, even when i was so young.
but when i got to be used to windows 95, things changed. especially for my attitude to computer. things became easier to handle.
look at microsoft, it first introduced some virsons of windows, such as 3.x and then 95, 98, 2000, NT, CE, ME. Now so many people are using xp.
that is the trend, desination is about secured, and easy.
i have to admit xp is quite slow and have many many holes (defects).
but the point is making os and other app software easy to learn or to use. as a result it attracts more users, making them getting addicted. and the events keep rolling.
there isn't gonna be an end.
even if microsoft gave up selling us new os, there are other opterating software getting more attentation.
Linux for example is believed to be a more secured althernative, and powerful.
the reason for its success is the "openness".
who know what the future will be. would all the software be free after all?
if so, would it change people's perception of copyright?
would the film and music markets be affected?
no one knows. network has been playing a big big role now, things could turn to be defferent very quickly. and the wealth and cunning developers would allow it to happen.
then what can we, as citizens in information technology, can do about it?

waiting for my mail!
it's after midnight, 10 hours later i should receive some mails in my mailbox.
i am still waiting for something to be sent to me.
hmm, let me recall,
i am waiting for my new credit card from Capital One, my student authorization, and hopefully a admission from U of T.
i've send my application to the program of information studies to graduate department of uni of toronto.
don't have any idea how long they would take to review my application.
it's kinda exciting while waiting for something that change my destiny seriously.
u of t had always be one of my dream.
it's one of the top schools in canada, thus the chance of getting admission is quite small.
but what else i can do now.
just keep my fingers crossed.
even i don't get to that school, i still have ryerson uni as my safe line.
btw, i will buy a laptop when the school begins in Sept. this year. i havd had my current desktop for 4 years. time for her to retire.
haven't sleep
it has been some days since my last post. and i've found some grammar errors in my existing posts. sometime i just can't write properly...
it is another night that i can't fall into sleep as a result of too much smoking. i conclude smoking helps keeping people awake.
btw, i purchased a psp game named "lumines". it is so far the best game for psp console. however i am still a bit disappointed by the game. why? the answer is simple. sony's psp have developed and released quite few games, and 99% of these games suck. where is the innovation? where is the fun?
i personally like the psp itself, but the games are no more than categories of action, sports, and puzzle.
i don't know what is the strategy from sony. its games are too repetitive... hmm, just change the look of a charactor and make it a new game??
besides, the games are expensive.
movies are even worse. i definately believe watching movie via the tiny screen of psp is a bad bad idea! why wouldn't they allow users to connect psp systems to TVs, or allow users to burn a disc from games of ps2 system.
the idea of psp is to make the gaming portable, mobile, just like all the cell phones. the idea is not to make any of new games for users to buy. i guess they really miss the target concept of being mobile.
besides, there are quite some problems from psp systems and their marketing. why the hell wouldn't they include a usb cord in the package?
One significant aspect of being mobile is the battery life. but each time after you charge your battery, you got only 3 hours to play before the next charge. i totally understand the system has to consume more power than some other appliances. but..., taking a car charger that people buy seperately from other manufactoriers, the product is smart, for the reason that people now get a easy source of power to charge their psp batteries.
i do believe sony can get more market share if they just think about it and provide an alternative.
after all, psp is a disappointing product. now i own one of them, and all i can do with it is to play non-exciting "lumines". so what a waste. compared with the non-mobile products, ps2 is a more desirable gaming system although it's not mobile.
just with various ps2 games, i am getting more excited than with psp games.
okay, should i go to bed now.
btw, chocolate cake is nice.

so "posting a comment" means...
it means to post a message under a thread, NOT creating a new thread.
hmm... but why it's as P.R.China??
today is 2005-06-18. I am waiting for my new credit card to arrive...
what else? i guess i am still expecting something from Canada's immigration office.
they are very SLOW!! a few days later, i am going to call some travel agencies to check out flight tickets and their prices (or fair?).
the airlines i am interested in are Cathy Pacific, and Air Canada (execuse me for the spelling).
I expect Air Canada could have cheaper price, but Cathy Pacific provides one screen for each seat, which give me for freedom to watch shows.
Perhaps i should go to bed, cos it's just 0:32 in the morning.
3 Kingdoms, why should i have give this name to this blog?
Good dream to myself!
